Write as much or as little as you like. A single line saying you would like to talk is enough. If it helps, you could mention what is bringing you to therapy, whether you would prefer sessions in person in Beeston or online, and whether you would like to talk in English or Dutch. You don't have to explain anything or make a case.
I don't publish a phone number, so that every first contact is unhurried and in writing, and so that I can give it my full attention when I sit down to reply.
What happens after you write?
- I reply within two working days. If you haven't heard from me by then, please check your junk folder, then email again.
- When a place comes up in 2027, I get in touch and we arrange a free 20-minute discovery call, by phone or video, at a time that suits you. On the call we talk about what you are looking for and whether working together feels right. There is no obligation.
- If we both want to go ahead, we book a first session and I send you a short agreement to read before it, covering confidentiality, fees and cancellations.

Where I work
In person at Highfields Therapy, my private practice in Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2ES, which is easy to reach by tram, train and bus from across the city. There is free parking on the street. I give the full address once we have arranged a first session. Online, I work by video with people anywhere in the UK.
The therapy room and the toilet are both accessible. I have a calm dog called Lisa, who joins sessions only if you would like her to. There is more on the accessibility page.
A note on privacy
Your email is read only by me and stored securely. The only services that handle it are the ones named in the privacy notice. The privacy notice explains what I keep and for how long.
